interview with Shannen

Image
Hi guys heres the latest interview with our very own Ms. Shannen Doherty..taken from the new issue of Charmed Magazine!!! have fun!! Charmed Magazine: Are you still acting or are you moving away from that? Shannen: No। I am definitely not moving away from acting. I actually have an offer for a TV series right now that I am contemplating. I think I have discovered that working constantly isn't necessarily the right thing for me. And sometimes taking time off is. I have the most terrific family. Charmed: What have you learned about relationships over the years? Shannen: The same thing that you have learned। We have all learned the exact same things through relationships. My good friend David Gardner and I once made lists of what we want in a mate. And we now set standards for ourselves. The funny thing is that now the two of us are like, "How are we gonna find someone, because neither one of us leaves our houses?" So we are pretty sure that we have to conjure them and bring

Operate in Wisdom

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unfathomable (inscrutable, unsearchable) are His judgments (His decisions)! And how untraceable (mysterious, undiscoverable) are His ways (His methods, His paths)! —Romans 11:33 Without wisdom we can make poor decisions and later wonder why we didn’t pray first. It is wise to seek God early each day before we start making decisions in order to know ahead of time what we ought to do, and then to receive the grace to do it.Wisdom keeps us from a life of regret. Jesus operated in wisdom. When others went home to rest, Jesus went to the Mount of Olives to spend time with God. And early in the morning (at dawn), He came back into the temple and taught people (See John 7:53–8:2). Jesus always spent time with the Father before facing the crowds. If Jesus needed time with God, we need even more time with Him. Walk in wisdom today.

Consecrate Your Money

And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]. —2 Corinthians 9:8 The apostle Paul said that the believers in Macodonia not only gave their money to God, but they also gave themselves to the Lord’s service (See 2 Corinthians 8:1–5). Paul too gave his life in service to God’s people. Many people want to receive all they can from God, but they are not willing to give all of themselves to Him. If you have never dedicated yourself to the Lord’s service, you are missing a great adventure. Dedicate this day to Him; He will lead you on a path to victory.

The Bible does not tell you TO MAKE the Word work. It tells you to let the Word work.

Moses told the people, Fear not; stand still (firm, confident, undismayed) and see the salvation of the Lord which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians you have seen today you shall never see again. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest. —Exodus 14:13,14 THANK GOD FOR a leader like Moses. He saw the same impending crisis the people did and faced it with confidence in God's salvation. His courage rested upon his past experience of seeing God's deliverance based upon His word. This was a moment when faith alone would save them—all they had to do was stand still and let God do the fighting. Perhaps you feel like the Israelites felt—walled in by an overwhelming problem that is absolutely real and threatening to destroy your life. You try to pray but fear grips your heart. You find yourself utterly helpless. It is a dangerous moment when human nature wants to break faith and complain against the Lord and blame someone else for the si

The difference between discouragement and encouragement IS DETERMINED BY WHOM you depend on God or man.

There was a certain man there who had suffered with a deep-seated and lingering disorder for thirty-eight years. When Jesus noticed him lying there [helpless], knowing that he had already been a long time in that condition, He said to him, Do you want to become well? [Are you really in earnest about getting well?] —John 5:5,6 FOR THIRTY-EIGHT years this invalid had tried repeatedly to get into the healing waters, but with no one to help him it was hopeless. Of all those who had been healed at the pool not one remained to help him. Discouragement had taken over his life. His response to Jesus was not an immediate, "Yes, Lord," but a rambling of why he had not been healed. If your faith is in others, discouragement from their failures to love and care for you will be inevitable. If your faith is in Jesus Christ, healing and wholeness are in Him for you. Jesus is an inexhaustible fountain of healing for whatever you need. Others may have left you behind, but Jesus seeks you

Increase Your Days

March 9 Behold, the Lord’s eye is upon those who fear Him [who revere and worship Him with awe], who wait for Him and hope in His mercy and loving-kindness, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. —Psalm 33:18-19 When I talk about seeking God early, many people think they will have to get up at three o’clock in the morning! I am not trying to tell you how to do it. I am not even suggesting that you pray for an hour. I am just saying that some way, somehow, if you want to start your whole day right, you must find time to seek God’s wisdom in the morning. Time with God adds years to your life! God is eager to give us insight and understanding. His Word says, “For by me [Wisdom from God] your days shall be multiplied, and the years of your life shall be increased” (Proverbs 9:11).
